The Eifel is the German part in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia; towards Belgium and Luxembourg this low mountain range becomes the Ardennes.
Due to the humid Atlantic climate, the Eifel is crisscrossed by numerous streams and rivers. Winemaking is predominant along the Moselle, Rhine, and Ahr rivers; tobacco is grown in the Wittlich Depression, and hops are grown in the Prüm Valley. Due to its volcanic past, there are also many mineral springs.

The adventurous sandstone rock landscape surrounding the Devil's Gorge is the perfect place for truly immersive experiences. And the nature park center is the ideal starting point for tours through the rock world, as well as the perfect place for a rest.

From fascinating rock formations to mystical forests, romantic valleys, and breathtaking views, these tours are a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in cultural highlights like the Musée Tudor in Rosport or the majestic Larochette Castle, which enhance the adventure.
The recommended circular hikes, all between 4 and 14 km long, offer a maximum of highlights and hiking enjoyment. Each of our tours includes a section on the Mullerthal Trail:
